2008
Established Innovative Physics as an applied sciences company to deliver advanced handheld radiation detectors and operate as an OEM, providing bespoke technology to global clients.
2011
Responded to the Fukushima disaster in Japan, creating the Hot Spot Locator 500 (HSL500) to assist with decontamination, achieving a working prototype in six months and a first sale in under a year.
2013
Expanded service models to include OEM, distribution, and hire, broadening our reach across new global markets.
2018
Winner of the Institute of Physics Innovation Award for gamma imaging systems.
2019
Entered landmark agreements with China National Nuclear Corporation and China Environmental Protection Company for radiation management, and won British Engineering Excellence Awards (Small Company of the Year).
